2013-Present, I am working full time on my Fourth Mission. I’m going to churches in a one hundred mile radius of Silver Spring MD, to give classes on how to Share Your Faith. Training other trainers that will turn around and train others to reach out to the Lord’s waiting Harvest, which is the souls of men, women and children. In the Bible, the Gospel of John chapter 4 tells us this;  John 4:34  Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.
John 4:35  Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!
John 4:36  And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.
John 4:37  For in this the saying is true: ‘One sows and another reaps.’
John 4:38  I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored, and you have entered into their labors.”
What Jesus is saying in these verses is, the will of God for Him (now us) is to reach the world with His gift of Salvation and to train other disciples to do the same, as it says in 2 Timothy 2:2 And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

  1. Great reminder to all of us! When I was first converted back in 1989, Matthew 28:18-20 was what I lived by. I was always sharing my faith and seeing disciples being made. I’ve gotten slack and many members of my church have slacked off, but the leadership is working hard to turn things around, and I have made a personal commitment to get back to obeying Matthew 28, The Great Commission. I look forward to reading your other posts.
