To tell you a little about myself; I was raised Catholic, but we only went to Church 2 times a year. I graduated from high school at 17, not because I moved up in grades, I just started early. I served in the United States Navy and did three tours off the coast of Vietnam. Found out who Jesus is on November 1972 when I was 22. 1973-93 Worked with Amor en Accion Mission’s Stationed overseas in Buenos Aires, Cordoba, and Salta, Argentina. Rio de Janeiro & Porto Alegre, Brazil. Lapaz, Bolivia. Ecuador and Lima, Peru & directed three more Youth Retreats in Spain. My father had open heart surgery, so I came back to the States. 1995-98 Loan Officer and computer technician for First Guaranty Mortgage & for Citizens 1st Mortgage and Computer Sales at Sears. 1998-2015 Started A Plus Renovations LLC MHIC 88188. I designed and ran the internet site. I managed the jobs doing some of the jobs myself. 1998-99 Attended Evangelism Explosion classes. Previous Psalm 138:7-8 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me. The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever. What a great truth! What a great promise from God: “The Lord will perfect that which concerns me!” These verses assure us (and you if you are a child of God through Jesus) (1) that God is always actively watching over us and knows when “we are in the midst of trouble”; (2) that God will intervene for us and “stretch out His hand” against those who seek my harm; (3) that God will “save us by His right hand” from situations that are overwhelming me; (4) that God will shower us with “mercy that endures forever” in spite of how often we seem to get ourseves into messes. But best of all: “The Lord will perfect that which concerns us.” I love this verse and this promise. God promises that He will not only manage everything in my life, but that He will manage those things PERFECTLY! He promises us that 2017 will contain no mistakes, no accidents, no coincidences, no “fate”, no curve-balls, and no situations of any kind that God has not already looked at, assayed, and deemed to be “perfectly designed” for His divine plan for our blessing, spiritual growth, and best interests. And I can rest in this great promise (and so can you as a beliver in Jesus) like a babe in its mother’s loving arms–safe, secure, and protected. And this then results in “the peace of God which passes all understanding” (Philippians 4:7). And that is the bottom line! John 14:27 – “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” Happy New Year!

Next Jesus will never leave us or forsake us period.
