The Great Transfer

Galatians 4:1-7 NLT [1] Think of it this way. If a father dies and leaves an inheritance for his young children, those children are not much better off than slaves until they grow up, even though they actually own everything their father had. [2] They have to obey their guardians until they reach whatever age their father set. [3] And that’s the way it was with us before Christ came. We were like children; we were slaves to the basic spiritual principles of this world. [4] But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law. [5] God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children. [6] And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father.” [7] Now you are no longer a slave but God’s own child. And since you are his child, God has made you his heir. https://bible.com/bible/116/gal.4.1-7.NLT

Great transfer of relationships Hebrews 2

We are children of God by grace. We have eternity to look forward to. We are not just guest we are sons and daughters. In this world we are harvesters in our Lord’s harvest, now workers and laborers, but when we arrive in our Lord’s Kingdom, our true place as children will be revealed to all. All humanity will stand before God. All will be judged by one of two things.

1. Judged by our works and the laws of Moses. 2. God will see Jesus in us. Jesus said whoever obeys my commandments will be mine, not that our work save us, but true believers live for Jesus. This is why God sees Jesus in us.

When we see waterfalls and how the water hits the rocks as it passes over it. The water shapes the rocks. Hardships we endure while living in this life shapes us.

Hold to this truth. Our loved ones who were in Jesus are in his Kingdom now. They have experienced and are enjoying sonship and daughter-ship. Lossing someone you love is hard for us now, but when we are reunited with them in the Kingdom of God, we will be full of joy and gratitude.

God by nature is a sending God. He sent His Son, and Jesus sends us to seek and find his sheep.
