God ways and heart was brought into human existence in the person of Jesus Christ. If anyone would take the time to read the 4 Gospels and see what Jesus said and how He lived, it would be evident Who He was and why we as human beings need to follow Him. He came to show us how He created us to live. That is when we see how far we have gone from the way of life we were made to live. Then we see why we have to be forgiven for our many shortcomings which are called sins. That is when we can turn to God and grow as we need to as humans. This is true Christianity when we live with true love and forgiveness for each other.
