We are always in such a hurry, so, we are impatient; but God is not. Yet, we do not need to be, because God has and always works according to His plan. We call a healthy baby’s birth full term, and anything less could mean problems. It is seen in crops as they grow and come to maturity they will bear fruit. It is also seen in the insect world as the ugly caterpillar becomes a butterfly. If we try to help the caterpillar come out of his cocoon, we hinder it from being a healthy butterfly, and it will die prematurely. The caterpillar must eat its way out so he will not hinder his transformation.    As we pray we need to learn to trust God and be confident in His ability to work all things out as we wait. God draws a person to a point of salvation in His timing anything that is manipulated is not of God. Some take longer than others to come to a place of seeing their need. God knows who will respond and who will not. God knows if a person will respond or reject Him. So, we must learn to be confident in God’s timing as we pray for the lost of our family, city and world. God is never in a hurry.    So, when it comes to our needs, whatever they may be, we must learn to trust and wait on God. If God knows the number of hairs on our head, and we can be confident that He knows the number of the days that we will live. Since He does, He will work out His plan as we each respond to Him. Psalm 90:9-12 say to us, “For all our days are passed away in Your wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told. 10 The days of our years are 70 years; and if by reason of strength they be 80 years, yet is their strength labor and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. 11 Who knows the power of Your anger? even according to Your fear, so is Your wrath. 12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”    We would be wise to wait on God and seek to live in obedience to Him and His plan, because He is never in a hurry!! So, stop all the worry that is going on in your life. God’s got this and He has a plan that He has been working on since the very beginning of time and eternity as we know it! We can trust Him every step of the way! The question is will we? Remember He is never in a hurry!!–
