Matthew 11;28-30. All who are sick and in any need. Come to Jesus and He will give you rest and strength.

We have to come to Jesus first as He alone can give us rest. Your pastors are to serve you with counsel but most of the time he will lead you to the Word of God. We are all to be lead of the Word because Jesus is the Word.

Gospel of John Chapter 1

The Word Became Flesh
1:1-14 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.  There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lights every man that comes into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Jesus is the Word of God made flesh. Look unto Jesus the author and finisher of your faith.

On the 7th day God rested. He rested to show us we need to rest. It is so important to take time to rest in the Lord. We will get spiritual strength if we do, but will not have the strength we need if we do not rest in Him .

Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

God will not let anyone have rest in their souls until they seek Him. Seek to have a daily relationship with Him.

Taking the yoke of Jesus is understood by what happens when a farmer puts the yoke on his ox. When the ox has the yoke on the farmer can lead it. When we take on the yoke of Jesus, He can lead us and we will find God’s design and purpose for our lives. He wants to lead and teach us By doing this we find peace and joy.

Hebrews 4:1‭, ‬God’s promise of enjoying his rest still stands. So be careful that none of you fails to receive it.
